Bar Pisellino is a fantastic all-day Italian style bar. They serve coffees and small bites and later in the day cocktails as well. It's a small place and you can't book a table, but you usually get a spot with little waiting. I wish there were more places like bar Pisellino!
This is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast/brunch! Their signature is housemade bagels with high quality smoked salmon. It's a large and vibrant place, always busy, so book if you can.
Maison Premiere is a fabulous cocktail & oyster bar in Williamsburg. It has a beautiful vitage interior and a very classy vibe. They serve cocktails, small plates, and of course oysters.
If you, like me, love New York, then you'll also love a good city view. Manhatta is located on the 60th floor and has an incredible view of the city! The cocktails are fantastic too, so I'd say this is a must go when you're in New York City.
Joe's Shanghai is famous for its Shanghai soup dumplings. They moved from the original Chinatown location to a slightly nicer space, but the food is still the same. They don't take reservations and there's almost always a queue. But it's worth it!
This is a bit of a random tip, but while we were staying in Williamsburg, we discovered Mexico 2000. The restaurant itself doesn't look like much, but the food is great. They have some pretty authentic Mexican dishes on the menu and the portions are generous.
